The 28-year-old forward, who played for Liverpool FC and the Portugal national team, was killed in a fatal car accident in Spain alongside his brother. According to reports, their Lamborghini crashed and instantly caught fire, leaving no chance for survival.

His recent performances had been crucial to both club and country, making his sudden passing even more heartbreaking.
